Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of customer-facing and revenue-generating agreements across specified verticals from RFP/proposal stage to signature.
  • •Act as legal lead on high-value, complex strategic engagements, including advising on potential M&A activity.
  • •Advise on data-sharing and licensing terms and translate AI, data-protection, and privacy requirements into practical guardrails for product and engineering.
  • •Build proactive legal foundations: templates and playbooks, contract repository, self-service capability, and legal risk framework.
  • •Manage disputes with external counsel as needed and deputise for the General Counsel on defined matters.

Key Requirements

  • •Approximately 6–10 years' PQE with in-house experience, ideally at a technology, SaaS, fintech, or high-growth business.
  • •Strong commercial contracting experience across the full lifecycle (framework agreements, SaaS/licensing, SOWs, NDAs) with excellent drafting/negotiation skills.
  • •Experience with IP and revenue protection provisions in commercial agreements.
  • •Fluent English (written and spoken) and ability to give pragmatic, commercially sound advice clearly.
  • •Some experience mentoring/supervising junior lawyers or readiness to step into people-management as the team grows.
