Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop bespoke GIS functionality and geospatial web applications based on client requirements.
  • •Work with the Database and Software Development teams to align GIS development with existing software.
  • •Design, code, integrate, test, and deploy software, including identifying and fixing bugs.
  • •Develop and maintain QA on code and maintain GitHub repositories.
  • •Deliver GIS deliverables to tight deadlines and provide technical mentoring to junior GIS staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and membership in a relevant professional institution.
  • •Core GIS and geodata management principles, especially for enterprise geodatabases.
  • •Geospatial data processing and analysis using Python with ArcPy.
  • •Front-end geospatial web development with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and React, working with ESRI JavaScript API and/or libraries like Leaflet and OpenLayers.
  • •Demonstrable experience (5–10 years) building GIS solutions and software.
