Key Responsibilities

  • •Structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways and appurtenant structures.
  • •Conceptual to detailed design of dams and structural components of dams.
  • •Inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams.
  • •Construction support services including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control and quality assurance data and construction reporting.
  • •Preparation of tenders and proposals & providing mentoring.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related discipline (essential).
  • •Demonstrated capability in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders and clients.
  • •Positive attitude with a mindset to innovate, collaborate and grow on challenging projects.
  • •Experience in structural analysis, inspection, and construction support for dam projects or similar large-scale civil works.
