Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform ALM analyses for German life/health units and derive recommendations for strategic asset allocation (SAA).
  • •Translate SAA into capital market indices that serve as benchmarks for tactical asset allocation.
  • •Develop and maintain asset and investment strategy modules within the cashflow model for German life/health units.
  • •Participate in global knowledge-sharing and best-practice exchange across Allianz AIM.
  • •Collaborate closely with Risk and Actuarial functions as well as IT providers/vendors.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in (Financial) Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, or another quantitative field.
  • •Solid knowledge of capital market instruments, finance, financial modeling, and accounting with a strong interest in financial markets and investments.
  • •Programming skills in tools such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • •Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
  • •Team orientation, ownership, and enthusiasm for data-driven work and programming.
