Job Summary

Provide legal support within a Warsaw-and-Krakow Aon Law team for US-law-governed commercial contracts supporting Human Capital and Risk Capital businesses. Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and client-facing terms, including privacy terms and complex consulting/brokerage contracting. Partner with US-based business and support functions to manage legal risk, lead and manage a small team of legal advisors, and maintain precedents, playbooks, and training.

Key Responsibilities

•Review and negotiate US domestic and international contracts for Aon entities supporting Human Capital and Risk Capital businesses.
•Advise business stakeholders on client-related contracting issues such as tenders, cross-border structures, and template rationalization.
•Provide legal advice on contractual matters including privacy terms and complex client consulting/brokerage contracting.
•Work with the Aon Law team, business units, and US support functions (Compliance, Data Privacy, etc.) to manage legal risk appropriately.
•Manage a small team of legal advisors and support team infrastructure (precedents/playbooks, research, and training).

Key Requirements

•Minimum five years’ experience as an in-house counsel at a multinational organization or as an associate at a reputable law firm, with some managerial-capacity experience.
•Fluent English.
•Hands-on experience with UK or US commercial contracts, including drafting and negotiating commercial legal advice in English.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team, escalating concerns appropriately.
•Practical judgment to balance commercial objectives and legal risk, including responsible use of AI.
