Job Summary

Serve as a senior technical SME for enterprise API development and entitlement services within a regulated financial services environment. Own MuleSoft API gateways and API management (policy, onboarding, monitoring, and operations), establish engineering governance and reliability practices, and lead solution design for strategic and tactical projects. Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, and delivery teams to ensure secure, scalable, standards-aligned APIs, while producing technical documentation and executive narratives.

•Lead MuleSoft API gateways and API management platforms, including policy implementation, consumer onboarding, monitoring, and operational support.
•Establish and enforce engineering standards, governance controls, and architectural best practices across multiple application teams.
•Lead technical solution design planning for strategic and tactical project initiatives.
•Design reliability and recovery procedures, and define transaction-specific performance monitoring metrics.
•Develop and maintain technical documentation and system configuration procedures while ensuring compliance with IT policies and industry standards.

Key Requirements

•7+ years of related experience in IT support, IT development, IT networking, or similar fields.
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
•3–5 years of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform experience designing, developing, and supporting APIs and integrations (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, CloudHub/Hybrid).
•Experience in financial services API ecosystems and programs, including governance, lifecycle management, and gateway policy enforcement.
•Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and API security scanning; knowledge of FDX, Open Banking, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and mTLS.
