Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the planning, design, coordination, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects including treatment works, pump stations, pipelines, and reservoirs.
  • •Undertake hydraulic calculations, pump station design, and pipeline sizing to support engineering deliverables.
  • •Develop technical specifications, reports, and tender documentation, and coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical, process, and structural interfaces.
  • •Review engineering designs, provide quality assurance, and support procurement with contractor engagement and technical evaluations.
  • •Support construction monitoring, site inspections, commissioning, and manage budgets, schedules, and project risks for allocated work packages.

Key Requirements

  • •6-9 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater infrastructure project design and delivery.
  • •Proven experience designing and delivering water treatment works (WTW) and wastewater treatment works (WWTW).
  • •Experience across bulk water pipelines and rising mains, sewer reticulation and outfall systems, pump stations, and reservoirs/storage facilities.
  • •Develop technical specifications, reports, and tender documentation, including experience in design reviews, construction support, and commissioning.
  • •Degree (BEng/BSc) in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and preferred registration with ECSA as a Candidate Engineer or Professional, plus a valid driver’s licence.
