Key Responsibilities

  • •Support DfMA projects by defining platform approaches across multiple sectors for how buildings are designed and delivered.
  • •Contribute to subassembly strategies and libraries of subassemblies, working with client teams and supply chain partners.
  • •Use construction and manufacturing software such as Revit and Inventor to develop technical design outputs.
  • •Collaborate with WSP engineers and specialists, including MMC and sustainability teams, to solve design complexities.
  • •Assist as part of an engineering consultancy design team by supporting project design, producing presentation drawings and sketches, and leading specific aspects of project work.

Key Requirements

  • •An architectural or architectural technology degree (B.Arch/Structures).
  • •Membership of a Professional Institute – RIBA or CIAT.
  • •Experience delivering complex technical solutions and coordinating offsite manufacturing solutions across a range of sectors.
  • •Strong technical design knowledge in UK construction methodology and experience working as part of an architectural design team.
  • •Fluency in English (oral and written) and excellent conceptual, verbal, and written communication skills, including passion for next generation construction solutions using manufacturing technologies such as Inventor (preferred).
