  • •Maintain thorough understanding of HACCP/HARPC, SSOP, and SOP systems; ensure policy adherence.
  • •Conduct annual reassessments and develop, implement, and maintain HACCP/HARPC and SSOP programs.
  • •Ensure finished products meet customer specifications and are properly labeled; report nonconformance and audit results.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • •2+ years of HACCP implementation and sanitation experience in a food processing plant.
  • •Broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA, GMP, and SSOPs, including fresh meat process and product knowledge.
  • •Basic understanding of food microbiology and comprehensive understanding of food plant sanitation.
  • •HACCP/HARPC certifications preferred; ability/willingness to obtain, plus basic computer skills for business use.
