Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead plant operations and maintenance by supervising O&M Technicians and participating in employee selection and training/qualification programs.
  • •Coordinate plant outages with customer and plant personnel to ensure minimum downtime and cost control.
  • •Develop, refine, and administer plant operating and maintenance procedures, and implement safety and environmental management systems.
  • •Administer plant operating budget, develop/track budgets using maintenance program tools, originate capital expenditure authorizations, and evaluate vendor proposals as required.
  • •Collect and analyze performance data to maintain/improve plant performance (including heat rate), and act as a project manager for approved improvement projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Undergraduate degree in engineering or a related discipline (work experience may be considered in lieu of education).
  • •Minimum five years of supervisory experience in power generation in comparable technologies or a similar continuous process environment.
  • •Experience with regulatory compliance in a continuous process environment.
  • •Proficiency in the use of computer hardware and applicable software, with basic data entry/computer skills.
  • •Must be able to perform physical requirements including climbing ladders and stairs and performing site inspections; must pass pre-employment drug testing and background screens.
