Job Summary

Support the Data Manager in building and maintaining the school’s Management Information System (MIS) and producing actionable reports for academic teams. Analyze student attainment and progress, spot trends, and perform comparative analyses to help school development. Contribute to data for inspection, evaluation, and the School Improvement Plan, and coordinate with leaders, teachers, support staff, and the Examination Officer. Keep skills current through professional development and new technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the data manager in planning, development, design, organisation and monitoring of the Management Information System (MIS).
•Liaise between leaders, teaching staff and support staff to ensure effective data flow.
•Produce reports for academic teams to enable analysis of attainment and progress, including grades and public examination results.
•Use reports to identify trends and conduct comparative analyses between schools to support development leaders.
•Assist with school inspection/evaluation data, liaise with the Examination Officer, and support data preparation for timetable, cover, examinations, attendance, and rewards/sanctions.

Key Requirements

•Minimum two years’ experience in a data assistant role.
•Experience working with Nova-T6 (Essential).
•Experience working with educational data, including pastoral and academic data (Essential).
•Experience working with Go4Schools (Desirable).
•Excellent ICT skills including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with accuracy and attention to detail.
