Key Responsibilities

  • •Review plans and specifications and produce accurate cost estimates for Trane materials, subcontractors, non-Trane equipment, labor, and related construction activities
  • •Provide customer-facing technical knowledge and consult on facility-related solutions to support bidding projects
  • •Determine project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet customer HVAC system design and installation requirements
  • •Develop, evaluate, and discuss equipment, controls, and service solutions with account managers, project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and/or customers
  • •Prepare, finalize, and review preliminary/final proposals and equipment submittals; support proposal pricing and project fulfillment schedules

Key Requirements

  • •1–3 years of experience in estimating, project management, engineering, HVAC, or construction management (or equivalent education and industry experience)
  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, HVAC technician, or business management preferred
  • •Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • •Ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines with attention to detail
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; HVAC systems and/or temperature controls familiarity preferred
