Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

  • •Create, assign, and monitor work orders; track machine service intervals; order parts; and diagnose issues using real-time data.
  • •Perform maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for rental and customer equipment.
  • •Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment and be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred).
  • •Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) on a daily basis.
  • •Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts; when required, travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance and maintain the service vehicle.

Key Requirements

  • •Own tools applicable to the position and have advanced mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of tools.
  • •Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
  • •Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely, and lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • •Pass a 10-panel drug screen and be willing to comply with safety requirements (including possible clean-shaving for some worksites).
