Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the mechanical design of Support System equipment from hardware evaluation and prototyping through evolved customer-facing demonstrations.
  • •Develop, review, and execute right-sized test plans for Support System equipment test activities, capturing and reporting learnings.
  • •Design and use full-scale representative vehicle system elements and mock-ups to evaluate and evolve Support System equipment and configuration.
  • •Draft standard operating procedures for Support System evolutions across operational environments and implement configuration control for development assets.
  • •Provide usability feedback to Vehicle, Mission, and Support System design teams and identify land and maritime test environments while mitigating associated hazards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or a related aviation technical discipline).
  • •3+ years of experience in aviation, aerospace, or product development/design environments including test and evaluation.
  • •Background in land and maritime operational environments, performing logistics and maintenance for fielded systems.
  • •Demonstrated hazard assessment and risk mitigation competence (e.g., MIL-STD-882E or similar).
  • •Eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance in the United States, United Kingdom, or Australia.
