Job Summary

Lead consents-focused programme integration within a Programme Advisory team supporting nationally significant infrastructure projects. Deliver client work across pre- and post-consent stages, including consent leadership and management, consent production, and environment impact assessments. Manage client relationships, identify and pursue business development opportunities, and contribute to bid preparation. Mentor colleagues and help develop programme integration products and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

•Work as part of an integrated project team to deliver key client deliverables for nationally significant infrastructure programmes across pre-/post-consent lifecycle stages.
•Provide consents leadership and management (pre and post consent), including consent production and delivery, environment impact assessments, and consultation/stakeholder engagement.
•Manage client relationships.
•Identify and realise business development opportunities, and lead or contribute to bid proposals and key bids.
•Mentor and/or manage members of the Programme Advisory team and line manage junior staff (where applicable).

Key Requirements

•BSc/MSc in an appropriate degree.
•Excellent knowledge of the consents process lifecycle from pre to post consent.
•Technical understanding of consents strategy across consenting routes (e.g., DCO, TWAO, Hybrid Bill).
•Experience discharging primary and secondary consents and delivering post-consent deliverables.
•Experience coordinating approvals/notifications and managing consent management plans and strategies in large, complex organisations.
