Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment and/or auxiliary equipment, including reciprocating and turbine engines and compressors.
  • •Assess engine and compressor component conditions and perform required maintenance per company standards and original manufacturer specifications.
  • •Identify, report, and assist in correcting safety and environmental concerns while maintaining injury-and-incident-free performance.
  • •Complete documentation and required paperwork timely and accurately, including ordering and receiving replacement parts, timesheets, and expense accounts.
  • •Mentor teammates and provide clear communication in person and by telephone; respond to emergencies and after-hours calls as required.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Experience in mechanical maintenance of reciprocating/centrifugal compressor units; preferably experience with turbine engines, natural gas compressors, and auxiliary engines.
  • •Valid driver license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
  • •Strong mechanical skills for compressor engines and ability to troubleshoot and maintain natural gas plant equipment, including pumps, exchangers, and compressors.
  • •Ability to read and interpret company policies/procedures, O&M manuals, and blueprints, and respond to emergency or after-hours call-outs.
