Perform visual, odor, and taste evaluations of raw materials and finished products and prepare samples for laboratory sensory testing. Learn and apply sensory, physical, chemical, and instrumental methods, maintaining clean and safe lab conditions. Conduct GC, wet chemistry, IR, L.A.B colorimetry, SG/RI/OR, particle size testing, and document results for the relevant areas. •Learn and conduct sensory, physical, chemical, and instrumental evaluation methods.
•Maintain clean and safe lab equipment and environment while following quality and safety protocols.
•Run instrumentation testing (e.g., GC, wet chemistry, IR, L.A.B colorimeter, SG/RI/OR, particle size) and submit results; support inventory extensions and benchtop compounding with recipes and BOMs.

Key Requirements

•Associate degree plus 1 year of experience in a GMP laboratory environment.

•Ability to taste all products with no dietary restrictions.
•Ability to be exposed to and smell a variety of flavor/fragrance products, essential oils, and raw materials.
•Ability to operate lab testing equipment and interpret results.
