Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain a high technical bar while guiding robust software design and clean data engineering practices, including occasional hands-on Python work on complex architectural bottlenecks.
  • •Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of software, data, and AI application engineers to design and deliver next-generation data annotation platform capabilities.
  • •Architect and drive implementation of next-generation auto-labeling applications leveraging multi-modal models-in-the-loop to reduce human labeling latency.
  • •Own data engineering and analytics for annotation work measurability, including event logging, ETL into a data lake, and metrics/dashboards/alerting aligned to reliability and latency targets.
  • •Direct engineering for custom annotation interfaces across text, video, audio, speech, and document modalities, and optimize for scalability, data integrity, and throughput.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • •10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years as a technical lead or engineering manager.
  • •Strong hands-on background in software engineering, data engineering, or AI application engineering with excellent system design and deep Python expertise.
  • •Proven architecture-level understanding of data pipelines, distributed systems, and integrating ML models into production workflows for auto-labeling/human-in-the-loop.
  • •Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers, with either formal team management or tech-lead experience ready to transition into management.
