Job Summary

Awarded role in EverAI’s Compliance team to own legal and compliance workflows for AI/e-commerce platforms. You will manage data-protection contracts (DPAs, TIAs), maintain compliance documentation, review product features for consumer rights, and handle day-to-day IP and contract tasks while collaborating with the Ethics & Compliance Officer on evolving regulatory guidance across worldwide AI regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Own daily compliance tasks: manage standard IP issues, contract reviews (NDAs, licenses), and updates to terms of service and privacy notices.
•Track and analyze regulatory developments applicable to AI/e-commerce in EverAI’s operations.
•Prepare and maintain required compliance documentation under data protection, AI governance, consumer rights, and related laws.
•Review product features for consumer rights and data protection compliance.
•Coordinate with the Ethics & Compliance Officer to clarify questions and develop recommendations based on research.

Key Requirements

•Legal education (e.g., Masters of Law, Juris Doctor, recognized legal certification).
•2-6 years of experience as legal counsel or similar positions, with at least 2 years in contracts and data protection law (e.g., DPAs, Transfer Impact Assessments).
•Ability to distill complex legal concepts into plain English.
•Interest in AI.
•Strong communication and collaboration, English fluency.
