Lead product and process development within a plastic/process manufacturing unit, driving continuous improvement of products, components, equipment, systems, and manufacturing processes. Manage technical development projects and ensure research/design methods meet engineering standards. Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales to align technical solutions with business goals, budgets, quality/safety outcomes, and regulatory compliance. Stay current on trends and deliver technical presentations to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage technical development projects for new products, processes, and equipment.
•Ensure research and design methodologies meet established scientific and engineering standards.

•Analyze quality and safety test results to ensure compliance with internal specifications and external regulatory standards.
•Monitor development outcomes to meet technical, functional, cost, and timing targets; stay current on industry trends and translate them into innovations.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or Industrial) or equivalent.
•Minimum 5 years of experience in technical leadership roles within manufacturing or process industries.
•Proven product and process development experience, including project management and cross-functional collaboration.
•Strong understanding of engineering standards, product lifecycle management, and regulatory requirements.
•Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written).
