Key Responsibilities

  • •Define, design, verify, and create documentation for ASIC development, including architecture design and logic design.
  • •Conduct system simulation and define module interfaces/formats for simulation.
  • •Develop multi-dimensional designs involving layout of complex integrated circuits, from high-level design through synthesis, place and route, and timing/power evaluation.
  • •Analyze process flow and results, and resolve complex technical issues using engineering principles and best practices.
  • •Evaluate equipment operational data and may review vendor capability to support development.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • •3 years of experience in logic and circuit design for ASIC development (or closely related engineering role).
  • •Experience with CAD tools and physical design of deep submicron digital ASIC chips.
  • •Experience with ASIC design tools including synthesis, simulation, equivalence checking, and static timing analysis.
  • •Experience with back-end (physical design) EDA tools, Unix/Linux environments, and scripting with Perl and Python.
