Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Support and maintain automation systems used for plant production, quality, GMP, and safety goals.
  • •Perform planning, scheduling, installation, monitoring, configuration, troubleshooting, repair, and backup/upgrade for production environments.
  • •Work with plant personnel to implement SCADA and assist with troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance of control systems (hardware and software).
  • •Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture and interfacing, including vendor relationship building to support integrations and improvements.
  • •Support preventive maintenance programs, identify improvement opportunities, ensure safety compliance (LOTO and electrical safety), and help ensure maintenance staff are trained on safety risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Associates degree in PLCs, Robotics, Automation or similar, plus an equivalent combination of education and five to ten years of relevant maintenance experience in manufacturing.
  • •Proven ability to modify and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs (Allen Bradley/Siemens preferred).
  • •Experience with industrial communication and PLC messaging, and familiarity with SCADA, PLCs, HMI, and related systems.
  • •Strong knowledge of 24/7 high-volume manufacturing environments and the ability to read/write and interpret technical diagrams and procedures.
  • •Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills, including experience applying PLC, motion controls, and SCADA methods and leading/manage project work.
