Key Responsibilities

  • •Install, repair, service, and maintain valves, pipe and pipeline appurtenances, generators, air compressors, pumps, gas compressors, and engines (recip and turbine).
  • •Maintain company facilities and pipeline right-of-way cleanliness and upkeep, and participate in planning equipment shutdowns, maintenance, and outages.
  • •Oversee construction and/or maintenance by third parties, including monitoring 811 one-call tickets, inspecting completed work, and conducting pigging activities when needed.
  • •Perform governmental compliance activities such as line patrol and road/railroad crossing and valve inspections; conduct preventative maintenance on compression station engines and equipment.
  • •Troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform minor electrical maintenance, operate equipment within defined parameters, maintain records/documentation, and support safety, environmental, and budget-related inputs.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • •Strong mechanical skills, including proficiency with hand tools and diagnosing mechanical issues.
  • •Ability to read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and other diagrams.
  • •Valid driver’s license meeting company insurability requirements, and ability to achieve/maintain required operator qualifications and certifications.
  • •Basic computer skills (MS Office and operating systems), basic math skills, and strong verbal and written communication with a customer focus.
