Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead operational verification, technical scoping, and execution of initial responses to subpoenas and other legal requests seeking Samsara customer data.
  • •Coordinate with external legal counsel, Samsara customers and their counsel, and internal teams (Customer Support, Sales, Engineering) on data request strategies.
  • •Draft and champion legal and operational policies for responding to subpoenas and protecting customer data, continuously pressure testing and improving processes.
  • •Monitor federal and state case law and regulations and implement strategies to manage customer data requests while supporting business objectives.
  • •Own and direct the litigation team’s eDiscovery lifecycle, from drafting legal holds through enterprise-wide data collection and final quality control for productions.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in data disclosure management and litigation project management within a corporate legal department, law firm, or government agency.
  • •Strong ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with attention to detail, excellent communication, and strong organizational skills.
  • •Operational familiarity with Stored Communications Act, Electronic Communication Privacy Act, Wiretap Act, and Pen Register/Trap and Trace Statute, plus MLAT and other data privacy frameworks.
  • •Experience fulfilling data and evidence requests from U.S. or international law enforcement authorities, regulators, and civil litigants.
  • •Hands-on experience managing the e-discovery lifecycle, including review platforms.
