Job Summary

Contribute to Life of Mine design study programs for the Oyu Tolgoi Life of Mine Studies team, supporting work from Order of Magnitude through Feasibility Studies. Partner with a diverse global group of engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to complete studies, options analysis, and mine design planning. Help maintain practical project schedules, manage contractors, and deliver recommendations that improve safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to mining studies shaping the future of the Oyu Tolgoi Project from Order of Magnitude through Feasibility Studies.
•Complete mining-related projects and options analysis that support the Studies.
•Support engineers and consultants to plan and implement safe and practical mine designs.
•Assist with maintaining practical project schedules and key interaction planning.
•Collaborate with mine planning and design teams to develop effective mine design and life of mine (LOM) schedules, including contractor management and safety/efficiency improvements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering with extensive technical experience in underground mining.

•Demonstrated communication skills, including building relationships with internal stakeholders and external consultancies.
•Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve.
