Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and execute engineering, innovation, and development projects for injection molding.
  • •Collaborate to define project scope, objectives, timelines, requirements, task assignment, and progress oversight.
  • •Lead technical design reviews with vendors, customers, and Amcor plants; establish customer relationships from a technical/design perspective.
  • •Specify and quote injection equipment and tooling, and work with teams to ensure optimized part design for injection molding.
  • •Troubleshoot product, process, deliverables, timing, and manufacturing issues; train others and support plant handoff.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •6–8 years of relevant engineering experience focused on injection molding.
  • •Background in injection molding related to part design, tooling, processing, materials, and secondary manufacturing operations.
  • •Experience with small-part injection molding, with preference for pharmaceutical/medical device products and related packaging components.
  • •Ability to explain engineering implications and optimize processes using scientific molding principles.
