Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the Events team to deliver the overall DARO events programme.
  • •Support the Events Programme Manager with delivery of the Birmingham in Action events programme for alumni, donors, volunteers, VIPs, staff and students.
  • •Deliver events end-to-end, including venue scoping, speaker outreach, invitation writing, website updates, budget oversight, registrations, and event briefings/debriefs.
  • •Contribute to review, evaluation, and creative planning, identifying improvements and new opportunities across the events programme.
  • •Support delivery of high-profile events and manage a personal portfolio for the “Bringing Birmingham To You” series, including selecting academics and using CRM data to evaluate outcomes.

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to degree level (or equivalent qualifications), or significant practical relevant experience in a similar role.
