Job Summary

Support Global Atlantic’s quarterly valuation process as an Associate Actuary on the Bermuda Actuarial team. Drive end-to-end Best Estimate Liability (BEL) work within the Bermuda Economic Balance Sheet (EBS) framework, analyze results, and present clear insights. Perform stress and sensitivity testing to inform management decisions, help modernize production processes, and prepare documentation for governance, audit, and regulatory reviews. Liaise across Actuarial, IT, Risk, and Finance.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the end-to-end process for Best Estimate Liability (BEL) for the Bermuda Economic Balance Sheet (EBS) framework.
•Analyze BEL results and communicate insights clearly.
•Perform and interpret stress and sensitivity testing to inform management decision-making.
•Contribute to modernization efforts of the production process.
•Prepare documentation for internal governance, audit, and regulatory reviews.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in the (re)insurance industry.
•ASA (or equivalent) actively working toward Fellowship designation, or FSA/equivalent.
•Strong understanding of life and annuity products.
•Coding language experience (Python preferred).
•Strong Excel knowledge (Power Query a plus).
