Job Summary

Define and drive AI architecture strategy for Allianz Benelux within the AI & Data domain. Translate business use cases into secure, compliant, enterprise-grade AI designs, selecting scalable platforms, integration patterns, and technology components. Lead AI platform and vendor decisions, promote adoption of reusable AI capabilities, and support AI governance and Design Authority. Oversee architecture across the AI lifecycle while ensuring responsible AI and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and maintain the AI architecture framework, including principles, capability models, design patterns, and target-state architecture.
•Translate business use cases into end-to-end AI architecture aligned with Allianz standards and objectives.
•Design scalable and reusable AI solutions by selecting platforms, integration patterns, and technology components.
•Collaborate with business, data, IT, and Allianz Technology stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
•Contribute to AI governance and Design Authority processes, ensuring compliance with Responsible AI, privacy, security standards, and regulatory obligations.

Key Requirements

•Hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field and have extensive enterprise architecture/solution architecture experience.
•Demonstrate enterprise-scale AI or data-driven solution design, including conceptual data modelling, ontology design, and architecture frameworks.
•Have hands-on expertise across AI architecture and system design, including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic frameworks, cloud/AI platforms, and MLOps with data pipelines.
•Provide strong stakeholder management, clearly communicating complex architecture to technical and non-technical audiences; understand cloud-native architectures and integration patterns.
•Be fluent in English; Dutch and/or French are an asset. Financial services/insurance experience is highly desirable.
