Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute enterprise Data Protection strategy, roadmap, and governance, establishing policies, standards, and operating procedures for secure data handling and compliance.
  • •Lead programs to protect sensitive information across the data lifecycle, driving adoption of data protection technologies, controls, and best practices.
  • •Manage enterprise data security initiatives including data classification/labeling, data discovery and inventory, insider risk management, encryption/tokenization, and risk-based controls.
  • •Lead enterprise privacy incident response operations, partnering with Legal, Compliance, and Privacy to ensure alignment with regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
  • •Lead data protection risk assessments (e.g., impact assessments and control evaluations), maintain risk registers and remediation tracking, and provide executive-level reporting on program maturity and KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep experience implementing and managing enterprise Data Protection solutions and controls.
  • •7+ years leading Data Protection and/or Data Privacy programs, including privacy event response and notification activities.
  • •Experience with DLP platforms and designing, implementing, administering, and supporting data protection technologies or services.
  • •Basic qualifications: a Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
  • •Expert hands-on knowledge of data privacy concepts, including privacy breach incident management, investigation, and reporting.
