Key Responsibilities

  • •Create F&DT certification reports and deliverables for aircraft primary and secondary structure (Check Stress Dossier, ACDs, IRDs).
  • •Analyze and validate metal structures for static strength and fatigue & damage tolerance using current methods.
  • •Create strength evidence and numerical/analytical calculation models, including FEM-based approaches as needed.
  • •Approve F&DT deliverables and define test definitions while supporting structure testing.
  • •Coordinate supplier work packages, perform F&DT analyses for in-service repairs, assess construction deviations/DQNs and build documentation, and manage projects within time, cost, and quality constraints.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in engineering or aerospace engineering (or comparable qualification).
  • •Multi-year, in-depth knowledge of stress, fatigue, and damage tolerance for aircraft metal structures.
  • •Proficiency in numerical and analytical calculation methods using tools such as ISAMI and Hypermesh/Hyperview, plus Nastran/HSB and related methods.
  • •Experience creating strength evidence and analytical/numerical calculation models, including (linear/nonlinear) FEM calculations is desirable.
  • •Working knowledge of Airbus SA/A330 methods and processes; programming skills (e.g., Python) and CATIA V5 are advantageous, with English (negotiation level).
