Design and develop mechanical components for premium audio products within Bose's McIntosh Luxury division, spanning concept to production. You will create 3D CAD models, support prototyping and testing, perform tolerance and thermal analyses, and collaborate across design, electrical, acoustics, and manufacturing teams to ensure quality, manufacturability, and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for premium audio products from concept through production
•Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and documentation to support product development
•Collaborate with industrial design, electrical engineering, acoustics, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure design intent, quality, DFM and DFA to enable smooth transition from prototype to production
•Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities, including troubleshooting and design iteration
•Conduct tolerance analysis, material selection, and thermal/mechanical performance evaluations

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
•3–7 years of mechanical design experience in consumer electronics or a related industry, preferably in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly environments
•Proficiency in 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent) and 2D CAD tools (e.g., Cadra or equivalent)
•Experience releasing parts to production and supporting manufacturing builds
•Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, process control, mechanical fundamentals, and failure analysis
