Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up fixtures, jigs, spoil boards, and tooling to perform machining operations.
  • •Prepare spoil boards, touch off tools, and enter registration in the CNC control to machine programs safely.
  • •Change tools and properly collect tooling; set up tools using touch probes, calibration programs, and height gages.
  • •Check processed lumber for compliance with job specifications and maintain material/supplies per production sheets.
  • •Complete pre-shift inspections, maintain production records, follow safety/quality procedures, and perform minor preventive maintenance.
