Job Summary

Serve as the internal functional lead for Workday Business Assets and Lease Management, owning configuration and lifecycle processes for assets and leases across Anthropic’s rapidly scaling infrastructure and global real estate portfolio. Partner with finance, engineering, and implementation partners to support ASC 842 lease accounting, fixed-asset accounting, ERP alignment, and reporting/close activities. Drive platform expansion and continuous improvement through automation across Workday Financials.

Key Responsibilities

•Own Workday Business Assets configuration, including asset books/classes, useful lives, depreciation profiles, capitalization rules, and CIP tracking for asset lifecycle processes.
•Lead end-to-end lease administration and ASC 842 lease accounting across Workday and dedicated lease management platforms, including disclosures and schedule maintenance.
•Partner with stakeholders to manage high-value technology infrastructure assets from procurement through capitalization, transfers, and retirement, including scalable asset tagging and tracking.
•Support Workday Financials core R2R activities (as a secondary focus) by aligning FDM/worktags and partnering on implementations affecting assets and leases.
•Build and maintain asset rollforwards, depreciation forecasts, lease disclosure schedules, and reconciliations; support month/quarter-end close and data quality defect management.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 205,000 - 270,000 annually

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in finance systems, ERP implementation, or business systems analysis roles, including 5+ years hands-on with Workday Financials (Business Assets) and lease/asset management software.
•Deep expertise in Workday Business Assets configuration, including asset books/classes, depreciation methods, capitalization thresholds, CIP tracking, and mass asset transactions.
•Hands-on lease accounting experience under ASC 842 in major lease management platforms (e.g., CoStar, FinQuery/LeaseQuery, Visual Lease).
•Strong fixed asset accounting knowledge, including capitalization policies, useful life determination, impairment assessment, and SOX/compliance requirements.
•Experience with full ERP implementation lifecycles (requirements gathering, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, hypercare).
