Job Summary

Join WSP’s Building Structures team in Adelaide to deliver structural engineering work on iconic Defence and other commercial building projects. You’ll ensure timely, high-quality delivery aligned to technical, commercial, and regulatory standards, lead activities across design, delivery, and tender phases for turnkey work, and partner with multidisciplinary stakeholders and clients. The role also blends technical excellence with client-facing capability, business development, and people leadership to help grow the team.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure timely and quality delivery of project and structural engineering work in line with technical, commercial, and regulatory standards, schedules, and budgets.
•Lead work across design, delivery, and tender phases for multi-year/packaged turnkey projects.
•Work on iconic projects within a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver a range of engineering projects.
•Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.
•Provide continuous improvement inputs to create more efficient workflows and support team development nationally where opportunities arise.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor to Masters’ level degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
•Minimum 10+ years of structural engineering consultancy experience in Australia within the commercial Property & Buildings market.
•Chartered (CPEng) status with relevant Australian registration.
•Eligibility to obtain Australian Defence full security clearance (only eligible to Australian Citizens).
•Strong design and delivery capability supported by advanced structural analysis and design software, plus experience leading complex multidisciplinary projects.
