Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform all ultrasound examinations per the American Hospital Dubai and Medical Imaging Department guidelines.
  • •Schedule patients for Ultrasound examinations and evaluate critical/emergency procedures in coordination with Radiologist instructions.
  • •Collaborate with Radiologists to meet procedural needs and ensure high-quality images.
  • •Maintain safety, cleanliness, and hygiene of the Ultrasound suite and equipment; perform safety checks as required.
  • •Contribute to the coordination of Departmental Quality Improvement and Education Programs and participate in staff meetings and unit projects.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound/Sonography/Medical Imaging/Radiography or an Associate Degree/Diploma in Ultrasound with Registration/certification or accreditation as a Radiographer/Sonographer
  • •Active home country registration
  • •Dubai Health Authority (DHA) License
  • •Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • •Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
