Key Responsibilities

  • •Climb to heights up to 60 feet to perform railcar and structural inspections as needed.
  • •Inspect and seal railcars, inspect equipment using checklists, and check fluid levels on equipment.
  • •Operate equipment including a Kubota Tractor and Kubota Utility Vehicle.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance such as changing oil, starters, batteries, and clutches.
  • •Complete daily housekeeping, participate in Safety/Quality talks, report incidents/near misses, and follow shipper confidentiality and emergency-coordinator requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Must be willing to work shift and/or overtime hours, including weekends and holidays, with no set schedule.
  • •Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • •Experience using hand tools (including pneumatic impact wrenches and seal cutters) and monitoring gauges/dials to ensure equipment works properly.
  • •Must be able to clear a drug screen and complete a background check after an offer is extended.
