Own the platform-engineering organization for an AI-native financial services stack, spanning agent runtime, retrieval and evals, integrations and computer-use infrastructure, data & fraud, and the agent-authoring platform. Lead org design and growth, set velocity and quality standards with eval gates and reliability practices, and build an engineering culture powered by frontier tools. Serve as a player-coach, staying hands-on with architecture, PR reviews, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and grow the platform-engineering domains by building and scaling the platform/AI/infra team and its engineering standards.
•Lead development of the agentic and conversational AI platform, including LLM orchestration, retrieval systems, evals, and integration/computer-use infrastructure.
•Drive velocity and quality with eval gates and reliability practices across domains.
•Build an AI-native engineering culture using frontier tools and an engineering harness that accelerates every engineer.
•Own engineering/ops excellence including incident response, observability, and reliability targets; partner on architecture and product.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 400,000 - 500,000 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years engineering with 4–6 years leading teams at high-growth startups/scale-ups, including scaling a platform/infra team through a funding transition.
•Deep domain commonality in AI/agentic systems, LLM/ML infrastructure, or conversational/voice AI at production scale.
•Fluency in building reliable agentic systems, including LLM orchestration and infra-level meaning of “agentic AI.”
•Hands-on platform background with distributed systems, API design, cloud architecture, and production AI ops.
•Still-technical leadership: review PRs, make architecture calls, and partner with Staff/Chief Engineers; BS/BA in CS required.
