Job Summary

Lead the estimating, bidding, planning, execution, and financial performance of construction projects by producing accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates and developing competitive bids. Manage awarded projects in coordination with field operations, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget work at high quality standards. Maintain pricing databases, evaluate quotes, analyze risks and schedules, and support field teams through site visits and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities

•Review plans, specifications, and project documents to develop quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
•Prepare estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead costs.
•Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes; develop competitive bid proposals and participate in bid reviews.
•Analyze project risks, productivity rates, and scheduling requirements; maintain pricing databases and market intelligence.
•Conduct site visits, collaborate with field leadership to support progress, resolve project issues, and promote adherence to safety policies.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
•Minimum of 5 years of construction estimating and/or project management experience preferred.
•Experience in earthwork, utilities, heavy civil, site development, asphalt paving, and related construction projects preferred.
•Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.
•Strong understanding of construction methods and ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents.
