Job Summary

Drive pre-sales technical support for Europe, engaging customers to understand requirements, analyze complex problems, and shape compelling technology and service offerings. Create high-level designs and bill of materials, document and manage design reviews, and present solution options to potential customers. Lead technical sales activities, support bid teams and procurement with vendor quotations, and deliver product demonstrations across Motorola’s public safety and government communications portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

•Engage customers to understand problems and requirements and demonstrate deep knowledge of the customer’s problem space and solutions.
•Analyze complex customer problems to determine compelling technology and service offerings.
•Design technology and service-based solutions, including high-level designs, bill of materials, documentation, and managing review processes.
•Present solution designs and implementation possibilities based on theoretical and practical experience.
•Lead technical sales activities for assigned opportunities and support bid teams; provide pre-sales support across Europe, including demonstrations and procurement quote evaluation from 3rd-party vendors.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•University Bachelor’s degree or similar, preferably in communications, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
•2+ years in a pre-sales technical role, including tender answering.
•Strong communication skills in English and German (both mandatory).
•Proven ability to initiate and build working relationships, be self-motivated, results-oriented, and operate with minimal supervision.
•Experience supporting solution design and bid/proposal activities, with a strong understanding of Motorola’s product portfolio and/or competitor offerings (highly desirable).
