Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate client onboarding, including managing Financial Advisor prospect pipelines, assisting with proposal generation, preparing account paperwork, opening accounts, transitioning assets, and establishing ongoing client service plans
  • •Answer incoming phone calls, manage client needs where possible, advise Financial Advisor of actions taken, and schedule appointments or conference rooms
  • •Maintain the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and leverage it for mailings, reporting, and e-mail tracking to implement well-defined client service models
  • •Assemble/generate materials for client meetings, develop client event/seminar lists and content, coordinate PowerPoint presentations, and follow through with client contact
  • •Complete transactions required to fully service client accounts, including paperwork and correspondence; may enter securities and oversees the fixed annuities lifecycle from purchase through servicing and reporting

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of prior industry and/or administrative work experience
  • •Must have Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, Series 7, and Series 66 or Series 63 and Series 65 licenses, or be willing to study and obtain them within 18 months of hire
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to learn and navigate Baird’s Private Wealth Management technology platforms
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • •Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain client confidentiality while understanding compliance regulations and correspondence policies
