Job Summary

Lead the Analytics Centre of Excellence within the EMEA Data Management Office, helping the Data Analytics team develop and mature Analytics and Artificial Intelligence capabilities across SMBC EMEA. Build and evolve the COE operating model, standards, training pathways, and service offering, while partnering with technology and analytics stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose analytics and insights. Manage and mentor analysts, identify proof-of-concept opportunities, and drive adoption aligned to governance frameworks.

•Partner with technology teams to align the operating model for Analytics and AI adoption.
•Establish the COE strategy roadmap for EMEA aligned to the agreed operating model.
•Develop and maintain standards, best-practice guidance, and templates for Analytics.
•Lead, coach, and mentor analysts, collaborating with analytics teams embedded in business functions to enable Analytics and AI products.
•Drive Analytics and AI rollout and adoption aligned to governance frameworks, including training pathways and horizon scanning.

Key Requirements

•Previous experience in a Data/Analytics team, ideally establishing data analytics capabilities or a centre of excellence for Data, Analytics and/or AI.

•Solid understanding of career pathways and skills frameworks for Data/Analytics roles.
•Experience working in an enterprise self-serve analytics environment.
•Experience with Power BI and/or Tableau to build data-driven dashboards, plus strong analytical and communication skills.
