Key Responsibilities

  • •Design mechanical parts, components, and assemblies for new consumer devices using 3D CAD (Siemens NX).
  • •Create detailed 2D engineering drawings with specifications and tolerances; coordinate with overseas vendor partners to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • •Design and run experiments, applying engineering analysis and test results to guide design decisions.
  • •Evaluate materials, manufacturing processes, and design tradeoffs to develop robust, scalable solutions.
  • •Build, test, troubleshoot, and iterate prototypes; support design reviews and transition from prototype to production with manufacturing and vendor partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Recently completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Product Design Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •Experience using 3D CAD software (Siemens NX preferred) to design mechanical components and assemblies.
  • •Hands-on experience building, prototyping, and testing mechanical designs.
  • •Strong understanding of fundamental mechanical engineering principles and analytical/problem-solving skills for open-ended design challenges.
