Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver comprehensive in-person gastroenterology consultations during scheduled part-time clinic sessions, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
  • •Develop individualized, evidence-based management plans covering medication management, dietary and lifestyle interventions, and appropriate referrals.
  • •Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHR to support continuity of care and compliant handovers.
  • •Ensure patient safety and quality by following clinical and regulatory standards, identifying and escalating safety risks or concerns.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams (e.g., radiology, surgery, dietetics) and mentor/support junior physicians during clinic time.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years minimum in geriatric clinical practice.
  • •Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.
  • •Residency training in Internal Medicine and board certification in Internal Medicine.
  • •Fellowship certification in Gastroenterology and SCFHS classification/registration as a Gastroenterology Consultant.
  • •Proficiency with diagnostic/therapeutic endoscopic procedures (e.g., upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy) and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
