Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform HVAC load calculations, system sizing, and equipment selection for healthcare, commercial, and mission-critical facilities.
  • •Develop HVAC design calculations, reports, specifications, and technical documentation for concept through detailed design.
  • •Prepare and review calculations, specifications, reports, and construction drawings, ensuring design quality and code compliance.
  • •Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection disciplines and lead HVAC design packages to support project delivery.
  • •Support BIM coordination using Navisworks, and review/guide junior engineers and BIM modelers.

Key Requirements

  • •HVAC load calculations using Carrier HAP.
  • •HVAC system design including airside systems, chilled water systems, ventilation systems, and smoke control/pressurization systems.
  • •Knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, and international codes.
  • •Experience with Revit MEP and AutoCAD, plus preparation/review of calculations, specifications, reports, and construction drawings.
