Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently develop engineering drawings for infrastructure schemes in accordance with relevant standards.
  • •Play a proactive role in the design process and support multiple projects simultaneously through various design stages.
  • •Produce drawings (plans, sections, and details) from engineers’ basic sketches to full working drawings.
  • •Coordinate with design teams to support drawing production and design delivery.
  • •Follow Health and Safety policies and procedures, including the H&S Policy, H&S Manual, and Local Procedures Manual.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering with 4-7 years of relevant work experience in Bentley BIM software.
  • •Excellent working knowledge of AECOsim/Open Building Designer, MicroStation, ProjectWise, and Autodesk software.
  • •Ability to utilise MicroStation, AECOsim/OpenBuildings Designer, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, and Revit MEP to develop layouts, labeling, dimensioning, sheet layouts, and design details.
  • •Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models to assist with investigations of engineering problems.
  • •Demonstrate working knowledge of technical design guidance and standards such as ISO 19650, RIBA 2013, and Uniclass 2015.
