Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement secure scalable backend systems for Public Sector customers, leveraging Scale's cloud-native AI infrastructure.
  • •Own services or systems and define their long-term health goals, while improving the health of surrounding components.
  • •Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes across the platform.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure backend solutions meet government agencies’ secure environment requirements.
  • •Engage in customer engagements to understand requirements and deliver innovative, compliant solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •Active security clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI with CI Poly (required)
  • •Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) in cloud-native environments
  • •Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, Cloud SRG, STIG benchmarks) and delivering secure software
  • •Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to communicate across cross-functional teams
  • •Willingness to work 3-4 days per week from DC or STL office
