Staff Engineer, Mechanical & Actuated Systems (R5293)

Design complex mechanical and actuated systems for autonomous UAV products on the X-BAT platform, owning the full lifecycle from concept and CAD through analysis, tolerance stack-ups, materials selection, and drawing release. Perform structural/kinematic calculations and preliminary FEA, prototype and iterate mechanisms for functionality and reliability, and collaborate across electrical, avionics, hydraulics, flight controls, and propulsion teams. Support prototype integration and ground/flight testing to meet performance and reliability goals.
