Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the delivery of traction power and high voltage substation design packages across all project stages.
  • •Act as CRE / Lead Engineer, taking full accountability for technical delivery, design approval and independent review.
  • •Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and efficient delivery; oversee and mentor engineers and designers; liaise with clients and stakeholders.
  • •Develop and approve concept and detailed design documentation including calculations, reports and specifications; undertake final technical review of design packages; maintain design assurance and governance.
  • •Undertake site visits and surveys to inform design development; provide construction stage design support and technical guidance; assist with bids and proposals.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in traction power and high voltage substation design.
  • •Experience acting as CRE / Lead Engineer.
  • •Experience delivering complex projects across feasibility, outline and detailed design stages.
  • •Experience leading multidisciplinary coordination and overseeing design teams.
  • •Chartered status, working towards chartership, or demonstrable experience operating at Principal level.
