•Maintain and install communication cables, power distribution, and wiring for equipment and computer systems.
•Install, modify, and repair electrical/electronic devices, including installing utilities like communication data lines and electrical components.
•Troubleshoot and test electrical system subsystems/components to localize problems using specialized equipment.
•Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and maintain activity records and logs.
•Follow safety and food safety practices, read blueprints/schematics/wiring diagrams/technical manuals, and respond to crisis calls with required tools.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED plus 1+ years of related industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance experience; or 4 years of direct experience.
•Strong knowledge of AC/DC motors, controls, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical systems, and troubleshooting.
•Experience with computer/device communications and protocols including TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, Device net, Modbus, Hart, and Serial.
•Knowledge of programmable logic/automation controllers, human-machine interfaces, and programming languages such as Ladder Logic, FBD, SFC, and Structured Text (preferred).
•Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.
